The envoy Ruan Sheng and others who had been sent by the country of Annam (Alt: by the king of the country of Annam) presented a memorial and came to Court to offer tribute of gold and silver utensils and local products. A banquet as well as biao-li of variegated silks, and other goods, were conferred upon them.
