Zhang Chang, vice minister in the Auxiliary Ministry of Rites, and others who had gone as envoys to Annam, returned. The envoy Ruan Wen-xuan and others who had been sent to present a memorial from Li Li, who was in temporary charge of the affairs of the country of Annam, accompanied Chang and the others, and came to Court to express gratitude for Imperial grace and offer tribute of gold and silver utensils and local products.
