Previously, the country of Ryukyu sent persons to the country of Melaka to purchase tribute goods. However, on the voyage, their ship was struck by winds and did not return. This resulted in Ryukyu failing to fulfil its required tribute mission frequency of once every two years. At this time, they sent persons to make up the missed tribute mission, and the Fu-jian defence officials advised. It was ordered that they be received in accordance with the precedents.
