Teng-chong (騰衝)
A Yun-nan "native" administrative division centred on what is today Teng-hong on the upper reaches of the Da-ying River in Yun-nan, PRC. It was also known as Momein in Burmese and Mung Myen in Tai. The city was fortified by the Ming state in the mid-15th century and turned into a civil and military administrative centre.
