Jin-chi Military and Civilian Command (金齒軍民指揮司)
Literally: "Gold teeth". A term used for an area of "Yun-nan" from the Tang dynasty. It was captured by Ming forces prior to April 1382. The MSL notes it as a major polity/administrative centre. The Chinese established Teng-chong (q.v.) Battalion at Jin-chi.
