The chieftain Dao Pai-ban and others who had been sent by the seal-holding native ruling family member Dao Pai-zhan, the son of Dao Pai-nue, the deceased native official of the Meng-lian Chief's Office in Yun-nan, offered tribute of silver utensils and horses in gratitude for Imperial grace. Variegated silks and other goods, as appropriate, were conferred upon them.
