The interpreter Qin Luo (Alt: Nai Luo), who had been sent by the country of Siam, stated that he was originally from Qing-liu County in Fu-jian, but that when crossing the ocean, he had been blown off course by the wind and that he was sojourning (流寓) in Siam. At this time, as the envoy was returning, and it was convenient to the route they were to take, he requested permission to visit family graves and then to return to the country [Siam] as scheduled. This was allowed.
