Madame Luo, widow of Liu Ting, who had previously held the post of Liao-dong Relief Regional Commander and assistant commissioner-in-chief of the left in the Left Military Commission, but who had died in battle, requested that her husband be posthumously rewarded, noting: "...When the Ava-Burma bandits engaged in violence, he eliminated their leader Yue Feng...When the Southern barbarians engaged in agitation, he penetrated deep among them, capturing and eliminating yi and luo ( )..." The memorial was passed to the relevant office.
