The Ministry of War re-submitted a memorial from the Yun-nan Grand Coordinator Liu Shi-zeng: "The Ava-Burma bandit attacked the border with his forces. The Mobile Corps Commander Liu Ting and so on realized achievements and should be rewarded." An Imperial order was issued noting: "This province has repeatedly memorialized victory and achievements. If the regional inspector does not speedily investigate and report on claimed achievements, and the rewards are delayed, people will not know the achievement for which they are being rewarded. The rewards are to be issued as proposed. Have the regional inspector disburse 50,000 liang of silver from the mining taxes and investigate and reward the various achievements of the troops.
