The Shan-xi Regional Vice Commissioner Lu Lin was dismissed and demoted to a commoner. Lin had followed the expedition to Jiao-zhi and, while he did realize achievements, his crimes were serious. As the rewards for his achievements did not atone for his crimes, he was dismissed and made a commoner in Nan-dan.
