In response to a memorial from the Ministry of Rites, approval was given for the chieftain Dao Xi-en and others from Wei-yuan Subprefecture in Yun-nan to take back a newly-produced incised gold warrant, verification tally and tally-slip book inscribed "First year of the Cheng-hua reign" (成化元年).
