Mu Cheng, guard commander drawing salary from the Embroidered-Uniform Guard, and assistant regional commander of the right, died. Cheng ( zi Ze-shan) was the son of the Vice Commissioner-in-Chief [Mu] Zan.... The Emperor subsequently ordered that he be appointed as a guard commander of the Embroidered-Uniform Guard, and take on the title of assistant regional commander of the right and the post of grand defender of Jin-chi and other areas. At this time he died at the age of 26....
