The Cheng-shan Earl Wang Cong died. Cong was the son of the Cheng-shan Marquis Wang Tong. For his involvement in the Jiao-zhi affair, Tong was stripped of his title. In the ji-si year of the Zhen-tong reign (1449/50), he was re-instated as vice commissioner. In the xin-wei year of the Jing-tai reign (1451/52), he died and Cong inherited his post....
