The Guang-xi Regional Military Commission was ordered to send home all the Bai-yi war elephant handlers, to arrange for the troops of the Trained-Elephant Guard to set up state farms in Nan-ning, and to have the captured elephants sent to the capital by the Champa elephant handlers. Previously, a Trained-Elephant Guard was established with the special function of capturing elephants. When the Xi-ping Marquis Mu Ying destroyed the Bai-yi and captured these people, he sent them to this guard for employment. At his time, it was closed down and they were sent home.
