The Senior Grand Master of the Palace Li Zong-zhe and the Grand Master for Court Discussion Pei Jing, who had been sent by the country of Annam, presented a memorial and offered tribute of elephants. Headwear and belts were conferred upon Zong-zhe and Jing, while paper money, as appropriate, was conferred upon their attendants.
