Sun Ying was re-instated as assistant commissioner of the right in the Auxiliary Office of Transmission and Gao Qing was re-instated as assistant minister of the right in the Court of State Ceremonial. Ying and so on were exiled to Jiao-zhi for offences during the Yong-le reign (1403-24). When the Ren-zong Emperor ascended the throne, people said that they could be well-employed. An Imperial order was issued recalling them. At this time, they arrived and the Emperor ordered that they be re-instated in their posts.
