The Censor-in-chief He Meng-chun, grand coordinator of Yun-nan, memorialized: "During the Hong-wu reign (1368-98), the Ying-guo Duke Fu You-de, the Xuan-de Marquis Jin Zhao-xing and the Ru-nan Marquis Mei Si-zu realized achievements in Yun-nan. It is requested that a temple be erected and sacrifices offered to them." The Ministry of Rites re-submitted the proposals. They were approved and a temple signboard reading "Reward for Achievements" was conferred.
