Wang Wen-sheng, retired Chief Minister of the Court of Judicial Review, died. Sacrifices and a funeral were conferred in accordance with the precedents. Wen-sheng had his origins in Chong-yang County, Hu-nan... He was then promoted to Yun-nan Provincial Surveillance Commissioner and assistant censor-in-chief grand coordinator of Yun-nan... When he was grand coordinator of Yun-nan, there was the expedition against Annam. He proposed arrangements for pacifying and soothing and many of his plans proved effective.
