It was ordered that the younger brothers or sons of the following officers who died in battle in Lu-chuan inherit posts as follows: Jun, the son of Ma Cheng, a vice commander in the Fu-jun Rear Guard, be appointed as commander of this guard; and that Yu, the younger brother of Fu Xing, a vice commander of the old Ji Subprefecture Guard; Sheng, the son of Wang Zhong, a vice commander of the Yan-shan Forward Guard; Zheng, the son of Xi Gui, an assistant commander of the Hu-ben Left Guard; Fu, the son of Tian Shu, an assistant commander of the Fu-jun Forward Guard; and Gang, the son of Shan Rong, an assistant commander of the Nan-jing Palace Left Guard, all inherit their father or brother's post. As to those who were wounded on the battle-field: Sheng, the son of Peng Jun, a guard commander in the Yan-shan Forward Guard and Duo, the son of Wu Xuan, a vice commander of the Fu-jun Forward Guard... were all to replace their fathers in their posts.
