Fang Jin, the Yun-nan regional military commissioner, died. Jin had his origins in Quan-jiao County in Chu Subprefecture. Initially, he replaced his father as assistant commander of Jiao-zhou Central Guard. He was then transferred to the Liu-liang Guard. On recommendation from the Qian-guo Duke Mu Sheng, he was promoted to acting assistant regional commissioner. Subsequently, for his achievements in the expedition against Lu-chuan, he was promoted to vice commissioner and then again to regional commissioner, defending Liu-liang. He died in office. Jin excelled in predicting the enemy's actions. In the expedition against Lu-chuan, he devised many effective plans.
