The Vice Minister Yin Zheng-mao, military superintendent of Guang-dong/Guang-xi, memorialized: "The yi envoys sent by Hua-zhao-song (Alternatives: Hua-tai-zhu or Hua-zhao-zhu), the king of the country of Siam, have come to present tribute of local products. They claim that the seal and tally-slips which were originally conferred [upon their country] were destroyed by fire when the country of Dong-niu) attacked and destroyed their cities, and they have requested that replacements be supplied." The matter was sent to the Ministry of Rites for deliberation.
