The Ministry of War re-submitted a memorial by Liu Shi-zeng:
"The Geng-ma bandit Han Qian (Alt: Han Chu) has given his allegiance to the Ming for years and has employed troops without restraint. Now, the Assistant Regional Commander Deng Zi-long has captured 82 bandits, beheaded 396 and taken over 300 of the bandits' dependents and nearly 100 war elephants, horses and oxen. The captured bandits should be executed and their heads exposed as warning."
This was approved.
