The rewards for achievements in pacifying the Mang chieftain in Yun-nan were detailed. The Grand Coordinator and Censor-in-Chief Liu Shi-zeng and the Qian-guo Duke Mu Chang-zuo were rewarded with silver and silks, while hereditary company commander posts in the Embroidered-Uniform Guard and fine robes (名色) were conferred upon Shi-zeng's son Xun and Chang-zuo's son Rui. A hereditary battalion commander post in the same guard was conferred upon the Squad Leader Gao Guo-chun. The robes of an official of the fourth rank were conferred upon Si Hua, a member of the Meng-mi ruling native-official family. The Mobile Corps Commanders Liu Ting and Liu Tian-feng as well as the Assistant Regional Commander Deng Zi-long were liberally rewarded. The other civil and military officials were all appropriately promoted and rewarded. In the campaign, Guo-chen, with 500 men had defeated a force of tens of thousands of bandits, broken through the cordon at Wu-zhang, pursued the enemy for 10 days and destroyed six of their camps. This was the greatest success in the war in the South-west.
