The Pacification Commissioner Ruan Yun-qin and others, a total of 40 persons, who had been sent by Mo Mao-qia, the Commander of the Annam Commandery, separately presented silver utensils, elephant tusks and local products for the tribute due in the ninth year (1581/82) and in the 12th year (1584/85). Mo Mao-qia was rewarded with a piece of brocade and four biao-li of variegated silks. The tribute officials were rewarded in accordance with the regulations.
