The native office of Si-ming Subprefecture was changed (改) and placed under the direct jurisdiction of Tai-ping Prefecture. At this time Huang Gong-sheng, a member of the native-official ruling family plotted to seize the ruling post and he colluded with Duo-xiong and killed five persons, including his brother Huang Gong-ji. The Si-ming Prefect Huang Cheng-zu aided them and took advantage of the disorder to pillage villages and stockades. The grand coordinator and the regional inspector requested that Huang Gong-sheng and Duo-xiong be punished under the law. Si-ming Subprefecture was changed and placed under the circulating-office prefecture, Huang Cheng-zu's title was withdrawn and he was required to realize achievements to atone for his crime. Also, that which he plundered was recovered.....
