The Ministry of War re-submitted a memorial by Chen Qu, a supervising secretary of the left in the Office of Scrutiny for Revenue: "The Guang-dong/Guang-xi Military Superintendent Yin Zheng-mao, the Yun-nan Grand Coordinator Zou Ying-long and the Guang-xi Grand Coordinator Guo Ying-ping have all reported on the elimination of bandits. It is appropriate to fully investigate these cases and take remedial measures. It appears that Yin Zheng-mao was rewarded, but that this was for his achievements in Hui-zhou. Now Zhu Liang-bao's haunts have been destroyed, but Lin Feng is still in Chao-zhou.... A despatch should be sent to Yin Zheng-mao, instructing him to coordinate with the Fu-jian grand coordinator and to strictly supervise the government troops in eliminating Lin Feng within a set period...." This was approved.
