The levels of rewards for achievements in the expedition against and elimination of the ten stockades, including Ding-ju and Bai-gai were decided. The Grand Coordinator Wu Ding was promoted to vice censor-in-chief of the right, and one son was permitted to enter the National University to study. The Qian-guo Duke Mu Chang-zuo was promoted to Junior Guardian. The Assistant Regional Commander Deng Zi-long was restored to regional vice commander, while remaining in charge of the duties of the Jin-shan Assistant Regional Commander. Yang Wei was substantively appointed as assistant regional commander, while the Administrative Commissioner Wen Zuo and the Assistant Surveillance Commissioner Yuan Ying-wen were both promoted in salary by one grade. The Surveillance Vice Comissioner Yang Yin-qiu was promoted in salary by one grade and, together with the Assistant Surveillance Commissioner Shi Mao, was to be employed as a supernumary. The Adjutant Yang Si-zhong and others, a total of three officers, and the Vice Magistrate Li Hua and others, a total of two (Alt: three) officers, were promoted in post, restored to their post or had their achievements recorded. In addition, they were all rewarded with silver and ramie. The Minister Wang Ji, the directors, as well as the provincial Administration Commissioner Lin Qiao-xiang, were also rewarded with silks as appropriate.
