On the evening of this day, over 10,000 of the Jiao-zhi man bandits attacked and surrounded Ai-liu Pass. Huang Biao, the company commander guarding the pass, and others were killed. The company commander Wan Cong secretly scaled the wall and let out a great call. The "dare-to-die" troops, brandishing their swords, then attacked the bandits from the Southern gate.
