Qie Shan, the vice prefect of Ying-tian Prefecture; Shen Yue, a Jiang-xi surveillance vice commissioner; and Wu Ti, an assistant surveillance commissioner, were all demoted to ungraded officials in Jiao-zhi. These demotions were ordered as investigating censors had impeached these persons for lack of competence in carrying out the duties of their offices.
