Paper money, biao-li of variegated silks and suits of clothing, as appropriate, were conferred upon Hu Chen and other native-official county magistrates from Li-peng and other counties in Jiao-zhi; Dao Men-fa, the son of Nang Bi, the native-official pacification officer of the Lu-jiang Pacification Office in Yun-nan; and... In addition, Dao Men-fa was given variegated silks to take back to confer upon Nang Bi.
