The envoy He-zhe Li-yi-si and others from the country of Ba-ge-da took their leave of the Court. The Emperor spoke to the Minister Hu Ying, saying: "The weather is getting colder and the sea route is long. Further confer upon the chief and deputy envoys 3,000 guan of paper money and a set of cotton clothing each. The chieftains and attendants are all to have further paper money, clothing, boots and socks conferred upon them."
