The ship-guarding troops of the Regency Guard and other guards were provided with grain rewards (糧賞). At this time, Yin Duo-xing and others, a total of 1,160 soldiers, advised: "During the Hong-wu reign (1368-98), we were banished as soldiers to the Jin-wu and other guards, without grain rewards, and were solely engaged in the guarding of the maritime ships. Now, the maritime ships have been dismantled and everyone has been deployed in various guards and given formal duties. It is requested that, in accordance with the precedents, we be given grain rewards." This was approved.
