The Auxiliary Ministry of Rites memorialized: "The tribute envoy Ya-lie Guo Xin and others from the country of Java previously said that the ship on which they were travelling had been damaged by the seas and the winds. Now, they are returning home and they have requested that the ship be repaired." The Emperor said: "If their ship is damaged, it cannot carry anything. How can it cross the oceans! Order the local officials to repair it."
