The Auxiliary Ministry of Revenue memorialized: "The persons sent by Han Men-fa, the nephew of Han Xian-fa, the deceased pacification superintendent of Mu-bang, to present the annual silver in lieu of labor for the first year of the Xuan-de reign (1425/26), have arrived in the capital. They have exceeded the time limit. It is requested that they be punished." The Emperor said: "The man and the yi need not be subject to China's laws. Do not punish them. Instruct the Ministry of Rites to confer rewards on the chieftains who have been sent and then send them home."
