Paper money, patterned brocades, silk gauzes, thin silks, cotton cloth and suits of clothing made from silks interwoven with gold thread, as appropriate, were conferred upon the chieftain Zhao Ban-lu and others, a total of 54 persons, who had been sent by Dao Guang, the native-official prefect of Meng-gen Prefecture in Yun-nan. It was also ordered that the Eunuch Director Yang Lin and others take Imperial orders and variegated silks and proceed to confer them upon Dao Guang and others.
