Variegated silks, thin silks, cotton cloth, suits of clothing made from silks interwoven with gold thread and clothing made from thin silks, as appropriate, were conferred upon the envoy Zhao Ai and others who had been sent by Dao Ba-xian, the superintendent of the Che-li Pacification Superintendency. Also, Zhao Ai was ordered to take Imperial orders, patterned brocades, ramie-silk and silk gauzes to confer, on his return home, upon Dao Ba-xian.
