The chieftain Dao Nong and others who had been sent by Dao Xian-dai, the pacification superintendent of the Laos Pacification Superintendency, offered tribute of local products. Paper money was conferred upon Dao Nong and the others. The Ministry of Rites was commanded to confer upon Dao Xian-dai velvet brocade and five bolts each of fine silks and silk gauzes.
