Han Guan, a vice commissioner-in-chief of the Right Military Commission, died. Guan (zi Yan-bin) had his origins in Hong County in Feng-yang.....When the present Emperor ascended the throne, he conferred the title "General for Subduing the South" on Guan for his former service. Guan was then posted as grand defender of Jiang-xi. Several months later, he was posted as grand defender of Guang-xi. In the fourth year of the Yong-le reign (1402/03), he accompanied the expedition to subdue Jiao-zhi and he realized repeated achievements. In the ninth year (1407/08), he was again ordered to Jiao-zhi. At this time, he died. Grain and silks were conferred for use in the funeral sacrifices. He left no heir.
