The chieftains who had been sent separately by Dao Xian-dai, the pacification superintendent of Laos, and Dao Jiao, the native-official prefect of Meng-gen Prefecture, both in Yun-nan, offered tribute of horses and local products. Rewards, as appropriate, were conferred upon them.
