Yong-le: Year 14, Month 5, Day 1

As Zhao Lu-qun Ying-duo-luo-di-la, the king of the country of Siam had died, the envoy Nai Shi-xian and others who had been sent by the king's son, San-lai Bo-mo-la-zhi-di-lai, came to report the death and request that he [the king's son] be permitted to inherit the title. It was Imperially commanded that the eunuch Guo Wen go and offer sacrifices for the father. In addition, another envoy was sent with orders with which to enfeoff San-lai Bo-mo-la-zha-di-lai as king of the country of Siam, and to confer upon him white fine silks, white silk gauzes, white felt, silks, cloth and other goods. Silks were also conferred upon his chieftain Da-ku and others.
