The people sent by Tao Hong, the commander of the Zhen-yi Guard; Fan Shi-xing, a vice commander of the Jiao-zhou Left Guard; Lu Wen-lu, a vice commander of the Jiao-zhou Right Guard; Huang Zhen, a vice commander of the Jiao-zhou Central Guard; and Pei Ru-long, a vice commander of the San River Guard, all guards in Jiao-zhi, presented a memorial and offered tribute of horses and local products in gratitude for the Imperial grace in appointing them to official posts. Paper money and silks were conferred upon all of them and they were then sent home.
