The Jiao-zhi bandits Gen Shi-lu (Alt: Liang Shi-lu) and Fan Gong-zhi gathered their forces and rebelled. The Feng-cheng Marquis Li Bin, regional commander of Jiao-zhi, pursued them to Shi-shi County. There they did battle and Shi-lu was defeated and fled. His false Standby-Guard General Gen Huo and over 150 others were beheaded. At the time, Gong-zhi was in Wei-man Subprefecture. When he heard of the defeat, he moved his forces to Kuai Subprefecture. Also, the Jiao-zhi Commissioner Sun Lin destroyed bandits in Shan-cai County, Jia-lin Subprefecture, killing the bandit general Fan Chen and others and capturing the bandit leader Li Xing.
