The Feng-cheng Marquis Li Bin, regional commander of Jiao-zhi, submitted a memorial detailing the crimes of the Commissioners Liu Zhen, Yu Zan and Wu Xing in allowing their forces to be utterly routed and noting the achievements of the Commissioner Chen Jun, who was serving in order to realize achievements, in defending against the bandits. The Emperor ordered that Zhen and so on, three persons in all, be fettered and sent to the Court, and that Jun's previous offence be pardoned and that he be re-instated in his post.
