The chieftains who had been sent separately by the Military and Civilian Pacification Superintendencies of Mu-bang and Ava-Burma, Meng-ding Prefecture and the Chief's Offices of Wan Dian and Gan-yai, presented memorials and offered tribute of horses, rhinoceros, elephants and gold and silver utensils to express gratitude for Imperial kindness in bestowing upon them Imperial verification tallies, gold warrants and official robes. Gold belts, paper money and variegated silks, as appropriate, were conferred upon them.
