The Cu-wa and San-jin Chief's Offices were established subordinate to the Yun-nan Regional Military Commission. Previously, these areas were both part of the Lu-chuan/Ping-mian Pacification Superintendency. At this time, the native ruler Zhu-dian-ba and others came to Court and requested the establishment of separate chief's offices. This was approved. It was ordered that Zhu-dian-ba and so on be appointed as the chiefs and be provided with seals.
