The Regional Military Commissions of Guang-xi, Guang-dong, Hu-guang, Si-chuan, Zhe-jiang, Fu-jian, Jiang-xi, Gui-zhou and Yun-nan, as well as 13 guards including that at Zhen-jiang, were Imperially ordered to despatch a total of 40,000 troops. The escort guards in the three prefectures of Chu, Liao and Ning were also ordered to send a total of 7,000 troops. These troops were all to accompany the Ying-guo Duke on expedition to eliminate the rebellious bandits in Jiao-zhi.
