The envoy Sai-yi Ma-ha-mie and others, a total of 234 persons who had been sent by Ai-ya-si-ding, the king of the country of Bengal, offered tribute of local products. Paper money, suits of clothing and patterned fine silks, as appropriate, were conferred upon them. Also, it was ordered that the Ministry of Rites confer upon the king fine silks, other silks, silk gauzes, parasols spangled with gold (銷金傘), porcelain and other goods.
