The chieftain Dao Xian-gua and others who had been sent by Si Xing-fa, the pacification superintendent of Lu-chuan/Ping-mian, and Na-luo-ta, the pacification superintendent of Ava-Burma, offered tribute of horses and other local products. Paper money and silks, as appropriate, were conferred upon them. Also, the eunuch Yun Xian and others were sent to take Imperial orders for Si Xing-fa and Na-luo-ta and to confer upon them patterned fine silks and silk gauzes interwoven with gold thread.
