For his achievements in capturing the Jiao-zhi bandit leader Jian Ding, the soldier Qi Yong-shou (Alt: Qi Yong-ding) of the Jiao-zhou Guard was promoted to battalion commander. In addition, headwear and a belt were conferred upon him and he was rewarded with 50 liang of silver, 300 ding of paper money and three biao-li of variegated silks. The others were promoted and rewarded as appropriate.
