For their achievements in the battle at Sri Lanka, Li Shi and He Yi-zong, both assistant commanders in the Embroidered-Uniform Guard, were promoted to vice commanders in the guard. The Battalion Commander Peng Yi-sheng and the Standard-Bearer Guard Battalion Commander Lin Quan were both promoted to assistant commanders of their respective guards.
